The main goal for this conlang was to be difficult to use while still being naturalistic, some inspirations for Lhodhkje: Hungarian, Japanese, and other conlangs like: O'eaiā which are notoriously difficult.

◃Phonotactics▹

Lhodhkje mainly follows 3 word spelling and pronunciation rules.
1 ▸ A word can only be all consonants if a nasal is included at the end.
2 ▸ If a voiced consonant comes before a vowel, the vowel is elongated.
3 ▸ A consonant cluster can only contain all unvoiced or voiced unless the consonant comes from an affix.

This is kind of a gray area, VSO is the default though other ones are also valid to use, and it really depends on what is most important.
